To help you through the transfer of your RRIF, we have outlined below the most common of situations for purchase. If you have a complicated situation or require help in anyway, please call our customer services staff toll free at 1-877-551-7283.

Individual RRIF – Transfer of existing RRIF Funds
To transfer an existing RRIF to a GICdirect Institution, you will need to:

• • Call GICdirect to find out which institution is offering the best rate
• • Complete a RRIF Application Form for the appropriate institution
• • Complete an RDBA Client & Consent Form
• • Provide a photocopy of two pieces of ID
• • Complete a T2033 Transfer Form
